Jennifer Garner is reportedly set to join the cast of Ben Affleck’s new Netflix crime film.
Recently, it was reported that Ben Affleck is set to direct the crime thriller Animals, with Matt Damon starring in the lead role.
According to the industry tipster The InSneider, Garner is in talks to portray Damon’s wife in Animals. While an official deal has not been finalized yet, The Hollywood Reporter notes that if it does, filming for the movie could commence in Los Angeles this March.
If the deal materializes, Animals would be the first movie directed by Affleck featuring his ex-wife.
They’ve acted together before in Pearl Harbor (2001) and Daredevil (2003). Affleck also had a cameo in a deleted scene from Elektra (2005).
Garner is best known for her role in ABC’s Alias, as well as for her work in films such as Catch Me If You Can, 13 Going on 30, Juno and others.
Recently, Garner has appeared in Netflix films like Yes Day (2021), The Adam Project (2022), and Family Switch (2023).
