A Quiet Place: Day One: Release Date, Plot, and Everything

After the first movie came out in 2018 and its sequel in 2020, both featuring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, the upcoming film called A Quiet Place: Day One will focus on a completely different group of characters. The A Quiet Place movies are set in a world messed up by an apocalypse, where scary creatures with super hearing hunt people. Both A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II were big successes. The first one even got Emily Blunt a win at the SAG Awards for her role and a nomination for Best Sound Editing at the Oscars.

There’s not just one new A Quiet Place movie in the works; there’s also A Quiet Place III, which will continue the story of the Abbott family from the first two films. But before that, the franchise is going back to the beginning with a prequel that explores a different story, not connected to the Abbotts. Despite some delays in its release date, this prequel will bring fresh perspectives and introduce new characters to the franchise’s world. It shifts away from the post-apocalyptic setting, focusing on the very start of the catastrophe and expanding the mythology of A Quiet Place.
