Pitt has seen how atrocious it is when people are recorded speaking their hearts out in AA meetings, and the clips shared with others who don’t understand what addiction is like. So, he recalled that he went to a “really cool men’s group here that was really private and selective, so it was safe.” As of 2022, the actor had not had a drink for almost six years.

The “Moonlight” star also made a change to put those he loves first, even with his lucrative acting career. In discussions about family, Pitt highlighted that people on their deathbeds don’t reminisce about their achievements or accolades in life; they speak of their loved ones and regrets. He admitted that, at some point, he had let work take him away from the things that mattered.

Pitt elaborated, “Kids are so delicate. They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I’m not hearing. I want to be better at that.”

Pitt, who was born on December 18, 1963, is also getting older. As per photos obtained by Page Six, the actor went on a romantic trip with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, in celebration of his 60th birthday. Pitt and his girlfriend were first romantically linked in November 2022 after they were seen together at a Bono concert.

Pitt and de Ramon spent the actor’s 60th birthday in 2023 at City of Light in the five-star Bulgari Hotel. On the actor’s birthday, giant silver balloons shaped as 60 were delivered for the party. A private chef made the birthday meal, which the couple enjoyed in a secluded apartment.

The movie star has also opened up about aging. The actor, who is now journeying in his 60s, said he thinks the process of people aging is more intriguing. When he was playing Achilles in “Troy” as a 40-year-old man, the actor went all out to get in the best shape of his life. Now, he perceives that appearance as ordinary.

Furthermore, people used to focus on Pitt’s look so much that he now finds aging to be an amazing time. Even at work, he is now mostly behind the camera as a film producer, a role he really enjoys. He happily supports rising amateurs and helps steer the works of great authors to the screen.

Pitt focuses less and less on screenplays, sayingI really believe that overall it’s a younger man’s game – not that there aren’t substantial parts for older characters – I just feel, the game itself, it’ll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all.”

The actor is a star in Hollywood, and not only is he famous, but he is part of its culture. Pitt spent his whole life knowing the film world. Now, he feels he can finally do something with the knowledge he has been filling his brain with. He is contemplating thoughtfully about the future and mapping out the concluding phases of his creative journey.

In 2022, while receiving the Maltin Modern Masters Award in Santa Barbara, Pitt candidly remarked on stage that occasions like these made him realize “I’m old.” He openly admitted his aversion to night shoots and expressed contentment in delegating stunts to a stuntman. However, he felt absolutely fortunate as he looked back at all the people he had had the honor to work with.

During the premiere of “Ad Astra” in 2019, Pitt spoke about getting older again. He divulged that he was motivated to tell this story because he’s “older and tired.”

Pitt also confessed that he doesn’t want to run away from aging. He emphasized that aging is an inevitable concept no one can evade, expressing a desire to witness greater acceptance of it within the film industry culture.

Pitt believes that the idea of anti-aging is absurd and akin to a fairytale. Instead, he emphasizes the importance of maintaining healthy skin through proper care. “So just age healthy, age in a healthy manner,” he concluded.

Nevertheless, Pitt admitted that he’d never had a good skincare routine as he just loves to keep it simple with his regimen. Upon awakening, he cleanses his face, applies serum and day cream, and completes his morning routine. In the evening, he repeats the process, cleansing his face, using serum, and applying night cream, concluding his nightly regimen.

The actor rarely does facials as he gets antsy. His make-up artist friend, Jean Black, has whipped him into shape now and keeps him healthy when he’s working on a film.
