The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ actor has shocked many with his looks in his latest film appearance with fans trying to figure out how he does it.
Mixing things up
In a recent interview with Men’s Health, the actor shared his passion for a multitude of sports. This variety allows him to work out his whole body.
“Sea kayaking, caving… fencing, treadmill, weights… climbing, hiking… jogging… I do a lot of different activities,” Cruise said.
The ‘Mission Impossible’ star added that it’s important to mix strength work with cardio.
“Regularly swapping cardio and strength work with something like fencing or climbing keeps up your flexibility and balance – the first two things that give away your age”.
Calorie limitation for fat
The limit Tom Cruise sets himself every day is 1,200 calories. That’s it. This is strictly adhered to, unless there is a special event such as a party or birthday.
In the end, though, it’s not all about training. In fact, nutrition and rest are 70 percent of good health and good looks.
