Happy birthday, George Miller! The film director is celebrating his 71st birthday today.

Born in Australia, Miller is best known for his work on the Mad Max franchise. In 2015, the franchise was re-launched with Tom Hardy starring in the titular role and won not only critic and audience acclaim for its insane practical stunt work, beautiful cinematography, and fantastic score, but also Oscar Awards over the weekend.

Aside from Mad Max, Miller’s other known work includes Babe and Babe: Pig in the City. Quite a diverse resume he’s got going.
