Actor Anthony Hopkins Mourns the Loss of His Beloved Cat in Video That Has Us in Tears

When a beloved pet passes away, it’s almost as if we’re losing a piece of ourselves, too. There’s some consolation to be found in the community of supportive animal lovers who will be happy to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder to cry on, but nothing can replace that hole in our hearts. We know how painful of a feeling it is, and–although it’s inevitable–we wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Artist, composer, and actor Anthony Hopkinsannounced the passing of his gray tabby cat, Niblo, in a recent TikTok post. As difficult of a time as it is, it’s special to see so many fans and viewers offering their condolences.
